This DVD is a great production. The sound is great and the graphics are well done. It’s also good to have a concert DVD where the director is not fond of the camera’s rapid change and its impact. Collective Soul are a great band with a large catalog of songs. This DVD showcases all his achievements accompanied by an orchestra. The orchestra fits very well with the band without overpowering any of the songs so that what you get is really a concert by Collective Soul more strings. This is essential viewing for fans of Collective Soul and certainly worthwhile for fans of good music.

A little context. . . I’ve been a fan of Collective Soul Shine when I heard years ago. At one point I had all their CDs. I enjoyed all their radio hits and can not benefit from things like their disposal. Their instrumentation is often lush and beautiful. Their lyrics are often touching and meaningful. There is certainly a depth for most of their music that no other bands. They also have a great atmosphere rock. That said, I’ve never played the cd a lot. When I heard them, I enjoyed them, but have never ruled my stereo. Their greatest hits is nice, but I was disappointed because their stuff before it was remastered for the quality of their more recent material. I had very limited exposure to the band to play live. I was impressed by their superior record of seats for MTV and I had only seen them live again. I think it was Letterman or another TV show. Roland and I (thought singer) was a little ‘clumsy in his movements, but the performance was tight.
In this context, I was glad to see they had a live DVD was released, but was reluctant to buy because I was nervous about what I saw. I finally decided to take the plunge and are extremely happy that I did.
The band does a phenomenal job. Lead vocals are very tight. Musically, the band is in good shape. The Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra is just wonderful. That a group of talented students! Probably there is a rock band that is best suited to perform with an orchestra. Collective Soul has a lush, symphonic sound yet. The songs are fully realized in this setting. It’s just a great experience and beautiful. See each emotion and dedicates “Crown” to her deceased father or experience in their creations to be transformed with the orchestra was very special. The songs are so beautiful and played sparingly, but are almost heavenly when delivered this way. And if they were the way they were meant to be experienced out. The band and orchestra mesh (or “gel” if you want) brilliant. Seeing the band jumping up and down and clap their hands together in “Better Now” was very funny.
If something negative to comment on, very little. I was a bit “startled by a graph where the various frames cheese roll-out to fill the screen. It’s just the only element in the graphics concert DVD. It’s a bit hokey and misplaced. The concert was a bit “weird. Local stage seems almost as big as the “seat”. To meet an orchestra of course had to be, but it will take some getting used to. Lighting is also a bit ’strange for a concert, but due to their needs, I think she’s a good job. The crowd also does not seem as exuberant. Luckily the staff did not feature much of the public. I still think the stage presence and a bit “uncomfortable, but it also has a real tenderness. Only this will be done with a microphone, but he seems to enjoy!
The bottom line, I fell in love with the band again. This is an extraordinary concert DVD. Now I’m thinking of buying the relevant CD. Characterizes most of their greatest successes so special and mastered for the best sound. Will have the advantage of their greatest hits album, though. Collective Soul is truly a great live band.

A very emotional performance. A joy to watch and listen, the Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra was great. When you open the DVD player, you must fight the urge to watch the show now. Instead of looking at the extra features “behind the scenes first. Take you behind the scenes interviews with some of the children in the audience, and suggests the concert for you. This way you get to the anticipation building up the feeling for the big moment. I liked it! You can too.

I was in the vanguard of this concert. This DVD explains the sound quality literally close as you can get without being there. The slopes TV does not work right – you need the DVD to try everything correctly! Direct TV and VH1 have each sub-race concert. VH1 half cut IT fulfill their – of course half was cut into disrepute, in my opinion, the best orchestral arrangements of the entire show.
I take the show? My personal favorite was the crown. If you are familiar with the available CD Collective Soul, this is so far above and beyond the best – and I found the cut-CD. You can not imagine how this tribute to his father, Ed, with orchestra. In my opinion, the best voice and the concert. It is the most moving moment of the event – the next young, with only Ed (vocals and guitar) and a cello.
Connected to the first, the orchestral arrangement Pretty Woman. (I cried during this show – although I regret to admit;) simply breathtaking.
Second choice for orchestral arrangement was needed. This is my 2nd favorite all-time favorite videos and Collective Soul (check it out on Y!). I do not feel this was the best vocal performance of Ed, but the agreement was excellent and after all what I expected (and I had high expectations, attention). Pick
third, was the world I know. Excellent accommodation and well done by all involved parties. />
The concert is the most “hits” you acknowledge that Collective Soul (even if you do not know who made the original songs or can not remember) and you feel like you’ve never have – and you’ll hear new songs from their CD, young people (I also verified this – check out my review).
These guys in the Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra were amazing.
Oh, that’s one thing – you have to look behind the scenes. “In my opinion this is the best part. Will (bass) is excellent and you can tell all the guys are really a great time and is a great moment in their history. They are excellent with children and young people are excited. Each of these guys is a master of his instrument.
Of course there are a number of provisions that the orchestra does not really mesh – heavy (in my opinion, but it was fun to see how the budget) , being one – but even that was enough to show you on tenterhooks.
All things considered, I can not recommend enough. It is unfortunate that this lack of Christmas. Buy the CD also comrade.
I am a professional musician and this is hands down the best concert I had the pleasure of life. I’ve seen concerts, symphonies, I saw – Now I’ve seen both at once, and this is the best I’ve seen in years. I wish I made money I have to go back each day paid.

I also had the opportunity to a number (about 7 numbers to see) of this concert on DirectTV and it was great! I wanted to buy the DVD now, but I knew it was a bit “before being released for sale.
I must admit that when I taught a couple of weeks ago that this DVD is going to be released, I was a bit skeptical about the symphony with the band. I think it was because I like the Metallica concert-cum-symphony. But I say, Collective Soul with the symphony was brilliant! I get goosebumps just by thinking about it. It makes it much cooler to see that members of the symphony are children!
I can not wait!
